ENTRIES ARE SOLD OUT

We look forward to hosting our race with a new title sponsor. We are delighted to continue the journey with Biogen, Momentum Multiply, Dis-Chem and all the co-sponsors SmectaGO, Gillette, Old Spice, Norflex Gel, Dove, Transact, Essentiale Extreme, Heneways and Aquazania who make races like ours possible for all runners to enjoy. Race costs are incredibly high, and we try very hard not to let that impact the runners with the race entry fees. So a big THANK YOU to our sponsors who bring incredible value to the runners, including the race shirts, goody bags, medals, activations, product and services.

Runners can look forward to the same high-quality event, with exceptional value, with a challenging route winding its way through the hills of Bedfordview, Morninghill and Primrose. The route offers the perfect kickstart to the running calendar in 2025. There have been slight route changes in Primrose to cut out a road closure and road works. Our 2025 race route has been measured and certified.

We thank our communities in Bedfordview and Primrose for their patience on race day. We are part of such a special community and appreciate the support that we get from Better Bedfordview, a non-profit organisation that assists us with clearing the route and fixing potholes and a big thanks to the Bedfordview and Primrose CPFs, RAG, Blue Hawk Tactical, BSG and Spider Tactical Reaction security companies who offer us that extra security and assistance on the day.

The 23rd edition of our race is proudly hosted by Bedfordview Country Club Athletics. So much work goes into organising a race, months in advance. A huge thank you to the group of volunteers that get things done on the race committee. We are proud of our race’s legacy and the people who have put in so much time and effort before us and those who continue to do so. We could not host a race without the support of all of our club members, their families and friends that all volunteer at the race set-up, race registration, the start, the finish, marshalling on the route and water points. Part of the race legacy is local clubs supporting each other and we really appreciate the relationships that we have with the Edenvale Rand Road Warriors, Gallopers, Germiston Callies, Fit 2000 and Jeppe who offer us assistance at water points and with marshalling.

Even with a new name, the race is sold out and we want to say a huge thank you to the runners and all the running clubs who support the race in their numbers. We also appreciate your kind donations to Lambano Sanctuary and the Namaqua Dog and Donkey Foundation which will be matched by the Dis-Chem Foundation. Our reward is seeing all of your smiling faces at the finish line!

Enjoy the race!
